In Times of Trouble

During this time of crisis, one may put their faith in question. But remember that there is always Someone we can rely on, our God Almighty. 

Faith in God is not something that some people naturally rely on. Some rely on their own strength, wealth, family, etc. During this pandemic, it is important to focus on God. The day the Coronavirus came, our world changed and nothing  prepared us for it. Praying and trusting God helps us cope with our feelings of uncertainty in times of trial. 

Unfortunately, church members are unable to worship in their respective congregation. Those with deeper religious convictions were more likely to lean on their faith, even if they can’t attend church regularly due to physical restrictions. The Friends of Jesus Christ Church turned into online church service throughout the outbreak. Pastor Teck Uy urges his listeners to trust in God and glorify him. 

“He cares about us especially in times of trouble. Friends! We can always count on him when we are in trouble. You know why? Because he is our everlasting God. Therefore, we should not fear and we should not be moved by anything that comes including this pandemic. Friends! We should not rely on our own understanding.” Pastor Teck Uy stated on Inner Voice. 

“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.” Nahum 1:7

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Always remember to lean on our God Almighty.
