Ontario sees more than 100 cases, the first time in a week

Ontario reports 115 confirmed COVID-19 cases, the result of 22,000 tests made over the past 24 hours.

Although this ended the streak of having fewer than 100 daily cases, Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliot tweets, the province’s downward trend continues.

According to Minister Elliot, 28 out of 34 Ontario public health units remain to report five or fewer cases, with 18 of them reporting none.

Even with the slight increase in today’s daily case count, the province reported Windsor can advance to Stage 3 of the province’s reopening plan joining the rest of Ontario starting on Wednesday.
