How To Remove Label & Sticker Residues on Toys.

Most toy stickers are unexpectedly hard to remove. Taking off certain labels is crucial for toy collectors. There is the possibility of destroying the package when removing the stickers. Occasionally, some residues are stuck on the package that ruins its pristine appearance and possibly decreases the value of the toy. Toy enthusiasts’ worst nightmare is the depreciation of a toy due to mishandling of the product.

There are several different methods of removing the toy stickers. In the show Filipino Toys Collector Worldwide, host Andy Gutierrez said that the best way to get rid of the stickers is by using plain fluid used in lighters. “If you are going to do it, make sure to be careful because you are also playing with fire!” Andy advised his viewers. Make sure to not use charcoal lighter fluid, gasoline and diesel fuel because these fluids can ruin the toy. Apply enough fluid to saturate the sticker. Allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then, use the tissue or tweezers to get rid of the stickers and the residue labels.
