How a Family’s Love Built Amazing Fun Park

When you step into Amazing Fun Park, it feels like walking into an enchanted forest — glowing trees, laughter echoing in the air, and the magic of childhood coming to life. But behind the bright lights and colorful ball pits lies a story of loss, resilience, and love.

The idea for the park began after the founders lost their father in 2019. Searching for a way to heal, two sisters and their husbands decided to create something joyful — a tribute to their dad who loved children deeply. What started as a small idea around a mahjong table grew into something extraordinary: a place where families could reconnect, play, and simply be happy.

Their first two parks opened in Vancouver, but the dream grew bigger. After setbacks during the pandemic and even a failed opening, they didn’t give up. Faith, family, and hope led them to Mississauga — now home to the Amazing Fun Park, an immersive playground designed to bring smiles to every age.

Inside, families can explore the giant ball pit, race through the illuminated jungle, try out the VR coaster, or belt out tunes at the park’s open mic stage — a favorite among Filipino visitors. Every detail celebrates togetherness, creativity, and community.

Most of the staff are future child educators or youth care workers, creating a space that’s not only fun but nurturing. And at the heart of it all is the park’s message — that even through loss, joy can be rebuilt, one laugh at a time.

“Your dreams are always bigger than your fears,” says one of the founders. “Don’t worry about the how — just go and create.”
