DK Tijam, born Dean Kristoffer Tijam, first gained prominence as a finalist in the 2003 ABS-CBN singing competition “Star in a Million,” where he earned the moniker “RnB Heartthrob.” After relocating to Canada in 2006, he continued to represent Filipino artists by performing in prestigious venues such as Massey Hall and Roy Thompson Theatre. Beyond his performances, DK has dedicated himself to nurturing young talent as a vocal coach, mentoring aspiring singers in Toronto.
