Toronto Raptors Beat Houston Rockets, Pre-season in Japan

Warming up before the regular season starts, the Toronto Raptors beat the Houston Rockets 134-129 in pre-season game held Tuesday, in Tokyo, Japan.

Though the team played without Kyle Lowry and Marc Gasol, Pascal Siakam was able to lead the team scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Serge Ibaka has scored 18 and Fred Vanvleet was able to make 14.

Houston Rockets’ star player, James Harden, on the other hand scored 34 points. While Russel Westbrook, who has played for the first time for the team scored 13 points.

Saitama Super Arena, which is also the site for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, was filled with Japanese basketball fans cheering for both of the teams.

Both teams will return to Tokyo on Thursday to finish the two-game series.
