Toronto Raptors 15 straight wins, longest winning streak by a Canadian franchise

The Toronto Raptors takes it 15th straight win after beating the Minnesota Timberwolves last night at the Scotiabank Arena.

Despite the many injuries faced by the team, the Raptors has definitely worked its way up to continue its winning streak ending the game last night with 137-126 against the Timberwolves. The Raptors now holds the longest winning streak by a Canadian franchise.

The previous games have tested each player to step up and show their potential since some of the team’s leading players were out of the game, Marc Gasol (hamstring), Norman Powell (broken finger), and Serge Ibaka (illness).

In an interview, Pascal Siakam, who scored 34 points last night, mentioned how the team always need to figure things out since they are barely complete during games. Raptors coach Nick Nurse remains confident and positive with the team’s performance that they have a shot of making it to the championship again.

The Raptors will face the Brooklyn Nets once again on Wednesday, their last game before Nick Nurse, Siakam, and Kyle Lowry, head to Chicago for the NBA All-star weekend.
