Porter Airlines operations suspended until December 15

The Toronto Porter Airlines suspended its operations from March 21 to June 1 when COVID-19 restrictions began throughout Canada. The airline operates in Billy Bishop airport and it extends the flight suspensions to December 15. This is the third time that the Airlines continued their flight suspensions. 

“The ongoing uncertainty presented by government travel restrictions, including border closures, is impacting our ability to operate flights,” the airlines mentioned in a statement. 

The Toronto Porter Airlines is deeply affected because there are 33 destinations in the United States. Border closures and travel restriction hinders them to return to duty in air travels.

The Porter Airlines is planning to have a secure and safe travels in this unprecedented times.

“Porter is preparing to introduce enhanced health and safety measures for its return to service,” They are also waving off cancellation and change fees on all flights that are booked through December 15.
