Due to the consistent decline in daily COVID-19 cases in the province, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, proudly announced that the province will see most businesses and activities to reopen.

Included to reopen on Friday are the following:

  • Indoor dining at restaurant and bars
  • Gyms
  • Playgrounds
  • Movie theatres
  • Museums and galleries
  • Zoos
  • Community centres

Limit to social gatherings will also increase once regions enter Stage 3. Indoor gatherings will be up to 50 people and outdoor gatherings will allow up to 100 people, provided individuals to follow physical distancing if they aren’t from the same household or social circle.

The only regions that will be left for Stage 2 are the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Niagara, and Windsor-Essex.
