Heavy snow hits parts of the GTA

A snowy way to start the work week! Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Toronto. The alert is in effect until tonight.

Snowfall started midnight and has been pouring continuously until now. The high today will be minus 2, and tonight low of minus 8.

Environment Canada also advises everyone to bundle up for snowfall won’t stop until the evening. It is expected to accumulate more than 15 cm of snow.

Be extra careful on your drive home. Police reminds drivers that “snow means go slow”.
