Health Canada Recalls 5 Brands Of Hand Sanitizers

Health Canada recalls more than 45 different brands of hand sanitizers. They have called to withdraw 5 new products that can cause health issues. Brands such as; Last Best Brewing & Distilling, Nomad, Prairie Potions Purify & Antibacterial Spray, Sanix – Gel d’alcool pour les mains ave emollients, 70% alcohol ethylique(ethanol) en format de 250 mL and Sanix – Gel d’alcool pour les mains ave emollients, 70% alcohol ethylique(ethanol) en format de 4 L were instructed to stop production of these merchandise. 

The hand sanitizers that do not meet the industrial-grade ethanol and other unauthorized chemicals that are prohibited in Canada. Safety in health is a necessity in this world which is currently dealing with a pandemic. These hand sanitizers can cause multiple inflammations in the eyes, hands and other parts of the body. 

Canada urges you to be safe. Wear a mask, wash your hands, and do social distancing. Hand sanitizers are just one of the essentials that could help good “hand” hygiene. But it will and cannot replace basic cleanliness.
