Facebook To Ban Erroneous Post About Holocaust

Mark Zuckerberg the CEO of Facebook, is taking action against Facebook users who distort the story of the holocaust.

A group of Holocaust survivors organized a new campaign by Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. They started the #NoDenyingIt to raise awareness and to encourage Zuckerberg to take off the Holocaust conspiracies, group pages and post. On October 12, 2020, he finally decided to stop the praises of hate crimes and mass murder such as the Holocaust.

Zuckerberg mentioned in his post. “I’ve struggled with the tension between standing for free expression and the harm caused by minimizing or denying the horror of the Holocaust. My own thinking has evolved as I’ve seen data showing an increase in anti-Semitic violence, as have our wider policies on hate speech.” Facebook is directing users who search for Holocaust conspiracies and theories to credible sources outside social media.

Social Media has been a big platform for those people who are in the business of the falsification of multiple current situations & even historical events. Finally, with the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg having a stand on the issue, Holocaust survivors can rest assured that they have made a case against fake conspiracies.
