Experience OPM Music on FTV

OPM stands for Original Pilipino Music which refers to pop music in the Philippines. It is also commonly known as Original Pinoy Music that was popularized during the 1970s. Today, Original Pilipino Music is undergoing a bit of revival among Filipino underground musicians.

OPM Primetime exhibits local artists with different varieties of Filipino music throughout Canada. Local bands such as Partida, Noise Gate, Breeding Grounds, Southeast Cartel, Majarlica, Beautiful Sabotage and Real Dreams Records are the frontrunners of this affair. They showcase different flavours of Filipino pop culture. Rap, Rock, Reggae and R&B are the different music genres featured on this show.
