Environment Canada issues heat warning for the GTA

A heat warning is in effect for Toronto and the rest of the GTA.

Environment Canada states daytime temperatures are expected to reach a high of near 30 C later this afternoon. Temperatures will slightly be higher on Tuesday and Wednesday in which the humid conditions are expected to last.

According to The Weather Network Toronto can expect to feel like 36 C tomorrow. The agency reminds the public to hydrate and stay indoors in a cool place if possible to prevent risks such as heat strokes or heat exhaustion.
