COVID-19 outbreaks hit two Toronto Hospitals

Seven cases of coronavirus were contracted inside the facility of St. Joseph Health Centre with an additional thirteen hospital staff who also tested positive. Three patients and six front-line workers also acquired the virus inside Toronto Western Hospital. “We have taken many measures to ensure this, including closing affected units to new admissions, further enhancing our cleaning and infection control procedures and implementing additional safety precautions for our staff,” Unity Health Representative, Robyn Cox stated.

Coronavirus cases around Ontario are rapidly increasing. Hospitals are once again trying their best to limit cases around and in all facilities.
