To promote and support health and government officials’ advice on social distancing and self-isolation, some of the most popular food deliveries in Toronto have stepped up to offer better service to its customers.

Stay home and swipe away! Skip The Dishes, Uber Eats, and Doordash will be one of your most-used apps during this quarantine season. Check the deals they have and other steps they’ve taken amid the COVID outbreak.

Uber Eats has waived all its delivery fees from all local restaurants to support the community. Some of your bubble tea cravings will surely be satisfied!

Skip The Dishes has been encouraging all restaurant partners to provide seal takeout bags and has suspended cash orders to limit contact and avoid the spread of the virus. They also have several restaurant partners that offer free delivery and no additional service fees. It has also launched an option on their menus where customers can directly give tips to their favourite restaurants. A lot of restaurants are now offering free delivery for orders over $20, like Boston Pizza, Mary Brown’s, and Bella’s Lechon!

DoorDash follows a no-contact delivery and has been advising merchants to update their pickup protocols switching it to a no-contact pickup. When Dashers receive sealed bags, they only need to verify the contents with the restaurant staff. Tons of their restaurant partners are offering free delivery on orders over $10, like Chipotle!

All of these food delivery companies are now following and offering doorstep drop-off to avoid contact. If you still want to make sure, you can throw the plastic bags right away and wash your hands while singing happy birthday. Now go and satisfy those quarantine cravings!
