3 Simple Cold Treats For The Summer By Luis and Sharlene

With summer finally here, frozen treats are a great way to kick start the season. Filipino cuisine has a lot of simple dishes yet satisfying meals complete with guilty pleasures such as desserts. Luis Azcona and Sharlene Gumpal’s cooking tutorials are filled with “hands and pans” quick videos that will help viewers learn how to make simple & satisfying Filipino food & treats or desserts. “As the temperature rises, requests for sweet treats are at an all-time high. We usually have a stocked pantry full of healthy snacks, but they just can’t seem to get enough intake of cold delicacies.” Sharlene says.

Here are three cold desserts that would satisfy people with sweet tooth this summer:

Goya Ice Candy

Instructions:

1) First, crush the 6 Goya dark chocolate bars

2) Steam Goya chocolate until it is melted.

3) Put the melted chocolate into the piping bag

4) Add melted chocolate to the ice candy wrapper.

5) Then, mix all the kinds of milk in a large bowl (1/2 can of condensed milk, 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 cup of all-purpose milk)

6) Add a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla

7) Lastly, use the funnel to transfer the milk to the ice candy wrapper. 

Goya Ice Cream Bar

Instructions:

1) First, crush the 6 Goya dark chocolate bars

2) Steam Goya chocolate until it is melted.

3) Then, crush the pretzel and add to the melted chocolate

3) Mix all the kinds of milk in a large bowl (1/2 can of condensed milk, 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 cup of all-purpose milk)

4) Add a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla

5) Use the funnel to transfer the milk to the ice cream tray maker

6) Freeze the ice cream bar

7) Finally, Dip the ice cream bar into the melted chocolate. 

Goya Milkshake

Instructions:

1) First, smudge the Goya chocolate syrup into the glass

2) Add 1 cup of ice to the blender

3) Put 1/2 cup of evaporated milk to the blender

4) Add Goya Everyday Chocolate Drink powder

5) Blend the milk with the chocolate powder

6) Then, add whip cream

7) Add chocolate syrup

8) Lastly, put one piece of pretzel on top of your masterpiece
